Im also looking to do this and wondered if you can use original glass

Yep and here you go. Can use orig. glass by why would you? THe glass weighs as much as the hatch so for the money might as well go Lexan. IIRC they are about £250\'ish.

If you search Seibon rx7 bootlid/hatch you\'re probably find plenty of suppliers tbh.
