With the prospect of emigration looking increasingly likely, I’m having to think seriously about selling off my fleet, including my beloved RX-7. I’m putting up a speculative ad on here before I head down the Pistonheads route as I want to see her go to a good home. Up for grabs is my PZ black K-reg RX-7 R1 Twin Turbo, odometer has just rolled onto 91000km although that will increase as I use the car almost every weekend, speedo still reads in km. Taxed until 31/12/13, MOT expires 08/01/14, registered as 1308cc. Bone-stock apart from ’99 spec alloys and 5Zigen catback (lovely exhaust note, not too raucous). Two new tyres on front, recent oil change with Castrol GTX 10W40 mineral, new air filter. Starts first time every time hot or cold, turbos boosting just as they should with 2nd turbo coming in smoothly at 4500rpm. Only ever run on V-power or Momentum despite being in stock tune. Rust-free example. Compression tested on April 28th by Ed_rx7, very strong results:

FRONT: 7.7 7.6 7.6

REAR: 7.9 7.9 8.0

See photos below for read-outs.

Bad points (every car has em!)
Thrust race is noisy, but doesn’t affect the way the car drives at all
Paint has micro-blistered in places, mainly along the top of the rear quarters. Not noticeable until you get up close, but realistically she needs a re-spray if you’re looking for perfection.

In summary: a fully functioning, taxed and MOT’d RX-7 that you can jump right in, drive away and have a sh*tload of fun with!
Located in Great Abington, just south of Cambridge. Email itsmillertime2002 (at) gmail (dot) com.
