I have an fd3s

Want to relocate the battery to boot
Which cable size from front to back would be best

I suppose a 35qmm cable and a 200a fuse

Thanks for tips

Yep, I used 50mm as that came along at a good price but 35mm will be fine. 150amp fuse or breaker will be fine, infact, I believe you can use a 120 amp.
Running the cable from the battery to the starter motor cuts down on the amount of cable and makes it look neater.
There is a hole under the back seat that is perfect for running the cable through with a 20mm grommet.

Sounds good
Where is the best place to come in the inside
Of the car from engine bay

From the starter motor, along the brake pipes and up into the car via the small hole under the rear seats.
leave the original starter cable in place as it will feed the fuse/relay box.

I got the red lead from an old bmw 320 from a scrapper. ( battery in boot)...lugs crimped both ends cleaned with wd40 and looked like new.
Perfect length... i had aircon delete so passed through grommeted hole in bulkhead. £20. all in

so i go from the relais box engine bay through the starter motor
after that i go from the starter motor to inside and then back to the boot?
if i am right then i have one caple from engine bay on starter and one from starter back in boot to the battery?

That\'s right, or you could go starter, relay box to battery.
By leaving the original relay box to starter cable in place you only need a small amount of cable to run to the starter from the battery.
