well a huge thanks to lewis i am now the proud owner of a mazda rx7.
had a look today and the car was real nice, few issues but i prefer that in a car you know its honest!

nice to meet lewis he went above and beyond to help me out, had tyres fitted ready to go, and rolled around on the ground in the rain to compression test the car for me there and then! absolute A grade guy.

as with any 20 year old car there are issues i need to sort out and personal preferences i need to add but then i have you guys to help me out! once im doing playing i will start with the help posts lol

thanks again lewis i know by the end of the day you did not want to sell it but its gone to a good home

Congrats!

I love the purple, it really works with the FD shape I feel.

Sounds like you bought from a good guy, which is probably the biggest contributor towards having a good ownership experience.

Have fun!

oh i will just need to fix a window seal and find some replacement wheels as these are too over the top for me!

Agree on changing the wheels.

It might be worth considering either of the OEM 17" wheel options - either the BBSs that were fitted to the RZs and 99-spec RSs, or the other 5-spoke 17" wheel that came on 96-onwards RSs.  I believe both types are 17x8 front, 17x8.5 rear, and the 5-spokes are allegedly under 7kgs a wheel.  I saw some of the BBSs going for about £350 last time they came up, I think the 5-spokes were about half that, not highly valued at all ISTR.  Anyway that\'s one option for cheap, light wheels that fit and look right on an FD - if you can find some.

I have several options at the moment, but right now in focusing on a stutter that has appeared, posted in general technical but don\'t think many people have been on as yet
