air pump removal ?

using a shorter belt, ive seen people put it round the out side off all three wheels, is this right or should it go smooth side off belt to water pump pulley. any body got any pics off this done.

Only FC\'s go around the outside, FD\'s the belt goes on the inside of the water pump.

Ade, i have the ARC air filter box, the pump has the electrical connector removed and i have a greddy pulley kit, take it i still need the blanking plate kit from DM motorsport to remove completely?
