Ive runa cable from the hole near the drivers kickpanel to the positive battery terminal for all my kit, but should i connect it to the ignition or the battery terminal and if the ignition where on earth is the terminal for that....

Ta!

grinder

eh !!

if you connect to the battery terminal you will ALWAYS have 12v regardless of ignition switch position

you need to find a switched live really - but i have no idea where to look :)

hehe, yeh what i basically mean is where is a switched 12v supply:P

Donato

Try the fuse box behind the kickpanel. You should be able to get a supply from there, you could also try running them separetly as to not draw to much current from one supply and lose everything if the fuse blows...

I had a nose about at the ignition switch and found these wires were disconnected!

According to an american bloke on an rx site the blue one is the accessorie switched cable.....

grinder

easy enough to check

get a multimeter ( or a 12v bulb )

connect one end to the wire - the other end to earth ( door pin etc.. )

turn ignition on thru all positions - if the bulb lights or you get +12v on the meter - then you have a switched live :)
