Engine Noise std rx7 fd3s

My standard twin turbo fd3s with Apexi induction has develop a load noise like a hole in the induction.
When the car is moving and you accelerate you get a noise like the  normal induction air sucking sound but much much loader.
When you inspect under the bonnet and rev the engine the noise dosen\'t appear to be there.
Anyone got any idea\'s or can recommend a good rx7 in the Hadleigh, Essex area.
