Feed side skirts: Matt? or car collour?

Hi,

I bought a set of feed sideskirts/sidesteps.
They are now midnight purple.
But i have a black FD.
Should i paint them Brilliant black as my FD or paint them matt black so the fit with the original frontspoiler that i have? That one is also not painted.

What do you guys think?  Many leave them matt if i look at some pictures.

Just to show a different perspective, I went for body colour.
