Hello there everyone , just signed up

after narrowly missing an FC from a member Cliff (FB Rebuild in progress)

he suggested i sign up here and see if i can pick up a project and some information to help me along the way

Currently just looking for an Fc , Fd , or a cheap 8 - Rotary power has always interested me

im 29 from just outside liverpool , a HGV tech by trade and have previously owned all number of cars , with a bias towards FWD french hot hatchbacks

Hope everyone here is as helpful and Friendly as Cliff

Definetly , Just want something as cheap as humanly possible - C,D or 8

8s are cheap at the moment but many have not been owned by enthusiasts and are thus quite shagged.  If you\'re prepared to buy one with a duff engine and get it rebuilt then it\'s a good way into rotary power.  The rest of the car is actually tough, other than an engine dying on me, replaced under Mazda Warranty, mine\'s been reliable for the last 5 years and 90k miles, sometimes the UJ on the steering column gets tired on older cars and causes steering problems but it\'s a cheap fix and the anti-roll bar drop links can fail too, but that\'s a very cheap fix.  A good RX8 is nice car and despite their lack of power and torque compared to the Turbo RX7s they don\'t lack in terms of pace on a circuit.

In terms of the cheapest you could buy then it\'s probably an EGI FC RX7 but it could be full of rust and require lots of work.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Well , it will be gettin a rebuilt engine , new loom , new suspension bushes , so honest terms its the cheapest rolling shell i can get handy with an engine so i can sell on or rebuild
