I am just underway with fitting a 20B in my new car and need to check on modding the power rack to aid sump clearance.

The square boss that sticks out the middle top of the rack where the pipe screws into. I under stand this can be removed or cut off? Can\'t find the thread now typically. Does it unscrew or do you need to cut it flush and weld it to blank it?
I presume you then drill and tap a new fitting in the bottom of the rack?
If someone knows where the thread is please let me know!

That\'s the presure feed into the rack for moving it one way . You could weld it up and move it round I think ( never done it ) but you would have go strip the rack completely and do it well !!

Best get the rack out then.. I cannot find anything online yet.. Must be posted somewhere as I have read it is a mod supplied with one of the conversion kits but no details on it!!

Spartacus

I\'ve seen them ground down a bit but only to take off a few mm for clearance not moved completely.

Will soon see!! I gas axes the front sump well off today to see what room can be created modifying that.. Also going to look at altering the pickup pipe too.. Will get the engine in and offer the rack in as it and go from there.
