OBD and torque app??

hi,
 
was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these. plenty of videos on youtube. just wondering if something similar is possible with the FC?

The FC ECU doesn\'t output anything useful in terms of real time diagnostics.  If you run an aftermarket ECU like Apexi or Megasquirt, then you can run gauges on a PC.
 
It would theoretically be possible to take the output from these ECU\'s and convert it to OBDII format.  You could also transplant a Renesis engine and the ECU into an FC - then you\'d get your OBDII straight off :)

ah ok, thanks for the info prof. think running manual gauges would be alot easier and cheaper lol.

It would work out ok if the car had been designed for the newer ports, but the car was designed in the 80s :)

haha yea, too retro. Would have been nice to have something like this, so you wouldnt need lots of gauges and could keep standard/sleeper look :(
