Dead Battery - can\'t get in!

Hi, can someone tell me how I can get into an RX8 when the battery appears to be dead please?  It\'s been off the road a little while and now even though the key fobs light up theres nothing happening to the car and I don\'t know how to get in without alarms and things going off as manual is in car. Any advice appreciated, cheers Angela x

Only thing I can think of is jacking the car up and with battery charger/booster hook the positive clip the the starter motor, there will be a cable coming out of it, hook it up to where it joins the starter and hook the negative clip to a ground, somewhere on the chassis/engine block or transmission housing. This should provide enough power to the receiver to allow your fob to unlock the car.

if the battery is dead then the alarm wont go off, just use the key.
