Nitrous and rotaries don\'t really go, it would have to be a wet kit with a massive amount of extra fueling to avoid the engine going lean on boost, its better just to get a slightly larger turbo if its only 50bhp more you are wanting.

Vin diesel tried it, worked great for him :Giggle

Thats the nasty US stuff, UK nitrous just gives a more progessive increase in power through the rev range :)

Its fine on drag cars though

the cash you have to spend on a wet kit, is cash you rather put into reliabilitymods, so you can up the boost alittle, and achieve a more reliable engine, AND enjoy those extra 50 bhp every time you want it, without having to go tap it up all the time. win win!:p

more boost means less engine life.

How about running nitrous to supply power whilst spooling up a ridiculously large turbo? Should get reduce whatever problems nitrous causes as you\'ll be using it at lower power/engine speed

2 step or properly sized engine ports for the turbo you want to spool :) engine life starts to degrade at around 1.4bar, on a massive turbo you have other stuff to worry about at that power :rollin

If your after just 50 HP then I would suggest an increase in boost along with a few supporting mods, it would be Beter money spent in the long run.

Nitrous doesn\'t really work on turbod rotaries unless you are using it to spool a huge turbo.

A none turbod engine would suit the nitrous setup, a wet kit too so that the system supplies the extra fuel rather than having the engine ecu having to deliver the extra fuel needed. A 50:censored::censored::censored::censored: would be a but pointless IMO, 150:censored::censored::censored::censored: would be worth having.

There is a thread on ausrotary where a guy is installing a 13B PP with nitrous into his road going rx3. Should be good to see the results

Ok I understand now but how I know the max power for my turbo all I know it\'s s300 Borg warner and that\'s it so if I want to increase the boost with bigger injectors I still don\'t know if I can gain extra 50ps of that turbo any idea what is the capacity power for the type turbo please?or how do I found out ?
