Chassis dimentions for an FD

Hey,  after a wee knock at the weekend down on the drift track i want to check the front of the car to see if its still in line.
 Iv stripped the front of the car to take a look at the chassis legs and they appear straight. Even running a long straigt edge up the inside of the two didnt show off any bends as such but i know this is not the right way to check it.
 
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to check the chassis or let me know where i can find information on what measurments i can make to see if all is correct. I have organised to take the car to get pulled if need be but he dosen\'t seem to have any information on how it should look.
