2004 Silver Mazda RX8 231 for sale with Hayward ported engine + 1 year warranty left + mods

6 speed manual RX8 231, Mileage 72k. Bose sound system, two oil coolers, leather heated seat, LSD etc.
Road tax 31/10/2012, MOT end of october

Hayward rotary warranty = no worries and rev the car all the way to 9500rpm!!!! Includes track days + dwyb as well!

Things done to this car in last 10 months and modifications

Performance:
Hayward Rotary rebuilt Street ported Renesis engine. Loads quicker than standard. 1 year/9000 miles warranty left with Hayward Rotary.
RACING BEAT light weight racing flywheel + new clutch (1 year ago)
BC racing 32 level damper + height adjustable suspension, Spring: Front 8k Rear 6k. (few months old)
AEM cold air intake (few thousand miles old)
Custom 3 inch midpipe decat deresonator
Dual 2.5inch  catback exhaust toyosport
New Mazda uprated coil packs (less than 10 months old)
New NGK Iridium spark plug (less than 10 months old)
Magnecor KV85 8.5mm competition spark plug leads
New front brake pads (less than 10 months old)
Faster starter motor
Oil changed 4 times 8-10 months ago to get the old oil mostly out.
Recently serviced (26th May 2012) with Fuchs Titan 10W40
Gearbox oil changed to Kaaz oil (less than 10 months old)
Recent wheel alignment (May)

Mazda Aero front lip

Fender vent strakes

Front + rear debadge with Spirit R badge.
JDM-R eyelids
Mazda stock 18s painted black.

Car drives very very well, well equipped with loads of room, good sound system.
CHEAP INSURANCE! I was 21 and paying 700 pounds a year. I rather pay petrol to drive than paying insurance which gives me nothing :p
Most fun I have had in the car, handling is amazing! Apparently it’s quicker than the 330hp E46 M3 on top gear track.

Bad points:
Rear boot rust, fixed but colour does not match.
Hit by a BMW driver on the rear fender, still pending insurance payment…. Not major tho.
Very little nudge on the right front fender.
Stone chips + tesco trolley dent.

Everyone that saw this car either in real life/photo thinks it’s a very different RX8. The whole feeling of this car is totally different than other RX8 in terms of driving feel and the look. A side skirt will complete the car imo. And if you are living in an area with little and low bumps, get it lowered even more and it will look amazing! Not too good in terms of handling tho lol.

Mechanically this car is very healthy! Engine mount still healthy, the light weight flywheel is the perfect match for rotary!!!! Rev very very happy and sounded like it never ends! Start first time very  time smoothly cold or hot.
Engine light is on from the decat, the code has been read to confirm.

The light auto level sensor is not working, has been properly adjust to the correct height, wont work with the coilovers being so low anyway.

All major mods add up to 2000 pounds already (exclude the rebuild and porting)!! Reason why I did not take them out for more money is because I think with this setting this RX8 is a very good car. Without the AEM and custom mid pipe the ported engine has very minor increase in performance. The coilover made the car much more stable. The light weight clutch makes the shifting so much quicker and the engine rev so much happier.
Reason for selling is because I’m changing the location of work.
Photos and videos (The smoke after rev is from burning oil. Put in a bit too much oil in few days ago, normal for a rotary as it burns oil anyway.

The car will NOT come with the Bride seat and the works XD9 18s. It will come with standard leather heated seat and black stock 18s.
Angry birds not included as well….
