ok i just took apart the ecu that i got given that came with the turbo.

i think it use to be a chipped ecu that someone has then rechipped 2 reasons for this

1. it has an old (removed sticker mark abit like the redom shape) and the holder for the chip is very and i mean very neatly soldered

2. it does have a sticker on the chip and on the box it shows as follows

FC (2 jap squiggles)1. OK
IC , ST , AC

it also has e80 on the bottom lid as did the turbo.

just trying to find out what the map is as some comanies to a genrec chips.

It might be a custom mapped chip someone has put in, usually what happens with the chipped ecu like the RE-A chips they are changed and then the chip is glued in so you can\'t take it out and nick the map.

ill get some pics up in a sec i also got a little black box that sits next to the ecu with n374 k8t11375 0716 stock part

um my car dont have this. could this explain why my borrowed buddy club ecu dont like to idle properly??

as my stock ecu had n380 on and hasnt got this black box.

its odd anyways as the ecu that came with turbo wont even start the car and when id did with a little throttle it sounded like it was only running on ether fron or back bank put old chipped ecu in and started up fine.

Thats an OEM Knightsports ECU

Can only be run on high octane as its a jap spec ECU and it has no rev limiter :)

i only run shell 99 oct. For some reason it wont even start the car but put the buddy club back on and its fine any ideas?

no the black box has n374 (stock part some cars have them some dont maynot wanna start due to this not being there as i dont have the wireing for one) not the ecu.
