Hi all i\'ve snuck in here to ask a quick question!
i did a TII brake conversion last year and one of the main reasons for swapping over on the rear is because the handbrake was always poor, i\'ve noticed the effeteness becoming worse and now had to adjust as far as it will go at the handbrake to get it to just hold on a hill, the footbrake also drops when the handbrake is pulled (presume this is normal) i know my set up is slightly different but how do you guys find the handbrake? should i let everything off and try to reset it? does the additional bleed nipple have anything to do with the handbrake?

thanks in advance
Mark

I was having problems like that, are all your rear pads good, are the rear calipers seized at all, any play where the cable connects to the caliper and are the discs warped?

Mine had a seized calliper and a dead pad, so one pad was spotless and the other was bare metal, so I only had the other side working and they were all but gone.

Changed the rusted caliper and now she\'s tight as a nuns chuff

anyone got a breakdown pdf of the rear calipers?
mine have up and down movement in the handbrake shaft when it drops down and loses pull on the pads hence the poor handbrake
