I went to fit some pads to the fc the other day and they had the metal tabs on them.  These tabs made the pad hit the brake disc and sit too high.  So al long as the fronts are the same as in your picture then I can\'t see why not?

Sorry I don\'t know about the rears.

grinder

im sure that they fronts are the same

i was looking at black diamond discs and they listed the same pads for the fc and fd

wouldn\'t happen to be metal tabs like these would it

Ricco_04

Yeah, that\'s similar. The bit at the bottom will stop the pad going all the way in so you will need some without that bit.

surely if i take a 1mm or 2 mm off the metal tab on the grind stone it would be ok?
when i put the pad to the disc the as the tab is touching the bottom of the disc and the top the fiction part of the pad fits
perfectly

Ricco_04

Yeah should be fine, I was going to do that with mine at first but the pads where chipped!  You should be able to take all that tab off at the bottom so you have nothing sticking out.

The pads I got looked like the image at the bottom and what you should be looking for is the pad at the top - hope this helps :

Whilst these are the wrong pads due to the tag out the bottom

The correct shape is the image Ricco has supplied and yes FD and FC pads are the same

Take your old pads out and if they are the same dimensionally apart from the tag just cut the tag off with a hacksaw, if they are not exactly the same, return to sender and get your money back for wrongly supplying

hope this helps
All the best Clive

hmm well this is the other pad so that one looks ok

i just tried the pad to the disc it fits the disc but the metal tab is touching the bottom of the disc so i thing il take the tip off the pad if need be.
but do the pads have to go a certain way or could i put the pad with the tab on the outside of the disc so itdoesn\'t hit the inside of it.

i bought the pads knowing that they were fd ones and i\'l be fitting them on thursday
so if they dont fit im within my 14 day garentee anyway :)
