I stand corrected. I\'m sure they mention seren gas in the film?

However I do remember thermite plasma will be the only thing that burns hot enough to neutralise it, shame as if it\'s hot enough to do that it might have a bad effect on the house Mates too?

Quote from: Grant Monkhouse;781399I think it\'s channel 5 this time so they will be squeezing as much out of it now they have the rights to it.

I personally hole they put every previous house mate in the house and then lock the doors permanently and don\'t feed them. There wasn\'t one person that went in there that could have been classed as normal!

Ah ok, so it was effectively the last one on Channel 4!

Here we go, strap yourself in then, big brother, x factor........... Thank god for Sky!

Ahem, and xbox. I don\'t watch any of the reality programmed these days, or anything else on tv for that matter. Maybe the occasion, mock the week when it\'s and 8 out of 10 cats.

I think Top Gear is the only programme i will religiously watch on terrestrial tv, but also enjoy some of the documentaries and Have i Got News for you etc

Gone are the days of Blackadder, The Fast Show, Harry Enfield, Men Behaving badly etc

Hate the thing and only ever saw a few episodes of the first one, but wasnt there a guy called Craig who won the first one (I think) who was quite a normal guy, and IIRC donated his winnings to charity?

Could be wrong though and the rest should be used as crash test dummies.

They mentioned Sarin gas as the precursor to VX gas.  The reason it\'s less successful as a nerve agent is that Sarin can be eliminated by Napalm.  VX is more thermally stable, therefore you need thermite to eliminate it.  Unlike what is shown of its effects in the Rock it\'s not a blister agent, they cause blistering and other nastiness, debilitating but only fatal if you inhale enough to attack the lining of your lungs, causes you to drown in your own blood.  Nerve agents mess up the signals going from your brain to your muscles.  Initially you\'d convulse violently, then you go into supercontraction where all your muscles contract fully for a prolonged period causing muscle tearing and bone breaking, then all your muscles involuntarily relax.  If the violent convulsions and supercontractions do not destroy your skeleton the involuntary relaxation of the muscles would cause you to asphyxiate because you couldn\'t breath.

To counteract the effects of a nerve agent you need to take things called NAPS (nerve agent pre-treatment system) which over load your body with the neuro-transmitter chemicals which nerve agents block.  From experience, these give you weird sex dreams!  If you think you\'re experiencing the effects of nerve agents you then administer yourself with an atropine autoinjector, not into your heart like in the Rock, into the muscle of the thigh is fine.  Not only do they contain atropine which counteracts the nerve agent, they also contain diazapam which sends you away with the fairies apparently.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!
