Am I right in saying they are plastic pipes that don\'t peal and that\'s oil splatter?

The pipes are normally black plastic. They were probably sprayed silver and now the paint is coming off.

ahh I see thought they were the same as mine which are just plastic and not sprayed thought he was pulling a fast one
