Rear demister / front fog switch led replacement

I\'m not a electronics wizz but I know a bit, I have a bulb gone in the rear demister switch and it got me thinking, could I replace it with a led that goes amber when the side lights are on but another colour when switched on?
This wild be especially useful for rear fog lights. All I need to do is figure out the right spec led with a color change option!

My light in that switch has never worked, always thought that was the way it was meant to be

Well there is a led in there so I presume it should light up, I know my front fog one does

Hold on, when i turn my rear demister on a light comes on on the dash, its my front fog lamp that doesnt light up at all
