hello people in the 323 at the moment i have a welded diff. does any one know what diffs would fit.

after looking aus rotary site i know a 323 has a "small diff" and 1st or 2nd gen rx has a medium diff. the the axle casings and diff housings look identical. but have diffent splined shafts.

would i be able to fit a 1st gen diff and shafts stright into my 323 axle casing????

there is info on rotahavik dot co dot nz in the tech section (you may have to sign in?)...also Ausrotary will have a wealth of info about all the options.

Hilux dif is a mean upgrade as it\'s a similar length and strong as an ox. b1600 mazda dif fits well too. Pretty sure I read that you can use something like a s2 rx7 lsd...apparently 323 and s2 ales are the same size  (according to that forum)? This is what I read anyway.

Love your 323 by the way...almost tempted to make an offer...brap brap

lol its always up for sale for the right price.

right i have been offered a fb rx7 2nd gen rear axle.

it has 24 spline shafts. my question is. can i simply put the fb diff in and use the new fb shafts in my 323 axle casing?????? would they be the same length as the 323 shafts and would they fit????
