Hey guys I\'m looking at getting a fd and insurance seems to be the only thing holding me back at the moment I\'m a 23 year old male and assume it\'s my age that is the problem I have 4 years no claims and am getting a average quote of 1800. Which is just too much for me to justify it. As I would have no extra cash for when it was needed for maintenance. I have tried all the regulars but on top is adrian flux and admiral. Both 1800. Altho admiral will do me 1200 if the car is not modded. Only problem is finding a standard car.

Anyone my age have the same issue ?

Aceman

Everyone your age will have the same problem!!

Being brutally honest, if that size premium scares you, sell the FD and buy an FC for a few years if you want to stay rotary..

If not, welcome to the world of group 20 cars driven by young drivers - it\'s a bend over and take it world to live in!!

Call A-Plan insurance and give them a try, they insured me when I was 23 on a Skyline. Im not sure if their rules have changed but worth a go right!?
