Quote from: A7RXY;756591Cliff what did it go for as I missed it

Dibs

Sorry about that Dibs - got interrupted by work (how inconsiderate they are).
Ye £181 - as Lacey says, a bit less than I expected it to go for but in saying that with the end time of 5am :Snoring not many people around then so it could possibly have gone for more.

ps - welcome home, nice time?

seems to be the average price they are fetching lately

David Nock (RIP)

Collected mine from friends in Cheshire last Friday. (Ex The Nantwich Breakers Yard).

Fitted this morning......After cleaning 10 yearsworth of crap off, the glass is A1, bolt heads want a bit of primer/black gloss when I get round to taking \'em out, that\'s all.

Complete with Solarglass and Safetyglass Kite markings, plus still got the old S2 Reg etched into it.

So we know positively that S2 and S3 are identical. (S1 we always knew was different).

I owe big time to you-who-helped-me on here. You know who you\'se is Cliff.

I still think if the end time had been mid evening, it would have fetched more :)

I have 2 glass rooves with no providence so couldn\'t confirm either way BUT in saying this I am 100% certain that they are interchangeable - to do a design change on the roof would have been so rediculous for any manufacturer, it wasn\'t as if there was an issue with the S2 roof in the first place, they made it as large as practical!  I think the only change (if any) was to make the roof section completely removeable.

vin likes diesel

Must say i was happy with what it made, the reason for the wrong finishing time was i was in thailand and i got my times mixed up when i listed it, In my head i had it finishing at 10pm sunday night.
Still not being greedy and the bloke who won it has bought it for his dad as a gift as he has been after one for ages and seems a good bloke.

Don\'t get me wrong Vin, it is a good price and for something that was an extra just has to be a bonus mate! :)
