Cleaning engine parts

Ok i currently have a dining room full of dirty engine parts,
 
How do you clean them? obviously im guna buy myself some parts cleaner and something to put it in and let it soak,
 
I have found this cleaner is it suitable

Also time is not really an issue and i dont really wanna use anything to rough so how long can the parts be left in the cleaner without damaging them?

If you\'ve got a dishwasher then you can put them in there!
 
Seriously, if you get the big stuff off with a bit of elbow grease, stick them in a dishwasher and dry them when it\'s done you\'ll get it clean.
