Thats being kind, surely?  A trip to Gravesend at 120 miles just cost me £50!  The 230miles od trip back from near Manchester to London when I first collected the REX set me back £80 but I drove it without going above 2500 revs!  :rolleyes:

Mind you, I do have a few mods on the car     And its all worth it in any case.  They are one of the most \'fun\' cars to drive imho.  Dont think I would have one as my only car if I depended on it for practicality - I have a Calibra for that - £16 petrol for the same 120mile trip.

thats using BP ulitmate ive switched to Optimax which is about 1.3 more full tank youd get about 200miles

15qiud to 40miles is heavy / hard driving, normal i reckon its about 60miles at about 80mph or so
