FD Dash Wiring

So I\'ve got me replacement dials, and have found that the connectors on the back are different - specifically, the white and black block connector on the left hand side as you look at the dash.

My FD was converted from Auto to Manual a while back, so could that be the cause?  Tis most bizarre...
