I\'m still looking to get a FC unfortunately had to put it on hold on account of blowing the engine in the GT4 meaning much expense and time fixing it.

Not looking to buy one for a while (end of year maybe) as i want to get some use out of my GT4 now it\'s had a small fortune spent on it, but thought I\'d start expanding my knowledge in the mean time and if the right car pops up for sale then so be it :chat

Are there any RX7 specialists down in/near the south east? Be good if there is one was fairly close to me.

Welcome back and it does not matter how long in between people post on here, they all know where to come for some good friendly advice or just a natter.  As far as specialist then it depends on what you want doing, theres nothing immediately next to you but a short drive is Hayward Rotary (newbury) and one or two chaps around London.
Plenty of RX7 owners in your area though who would give advice or give you a hand.

If you\'re looking for a nearby specialist I\'d recomend rotechniks. Pricey but very good with FC\'s

TBH there\'s not alot you really need to know. Just the signs of a duff engine and how to maintain them!

I don\'t mind a drive to get the car looked over by specialists if need be. Most of the servicing etc I can do myself anyway. Still on the lookout for a decent Hardtop FC turbo but all I can find are either rusty or over priced and rusty :Giggle Ideally I\'d like a nice modified one, nothing too OTT but the basic stuff done to save me doing that.

The more I look at FC\'s the more I want one right now. Still, I\'m sure patience will pay off.

well have you looked at importing one? Im sure for 3-4k you could get something very nice. There wont be any rust, and chances are it\'ll be much better maintained

Have thought about importing, would rather buy one already here though. Club cars tend to be much better maintained then others available.

What about JamesH\'s RX8 powered FC. I know its not turbo\'d but It\'ll still be a quick FC.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Seen that thanks, but I do want a turbo, don\'t mind a cheap one needing an engine build as porting etc is something I\'d want done anyway. Had nothing but Turbo cars for 10 years now and I\'m now addicted to boost :Giggle
