This may be a dumb question but has any one ever tried to fit an FD rad into an FC ?, is it possable and if so how much work is involved.
The reason is second hand FD aftermarket rads are eaiser to get hold of and cheaper.

The Skyline R32 rads fit the FC with minor hose adjustment at the bottom. Bit thinner but size is good.

The difference with the FD rad is that has all the AST and seperate filler neck, the FC has the filler neck on the rad.  Just go for an aftermarket rad you will never look back and only need to do it once,it will last for decades.

Think you may be right there Pete best spend the money and do the job once and right but I don\'t think I would trust an ebay made in China special best to buy a brand name.
If it was an easy fit I would go for it as I spotted an FD Koyo rad with fans for £100 on ebay a good buy for someone.
