Does anyone know if the Electric Fans from a FD will fit the FB rad ?

Very much doubt the FD fans will fit. The FD rad is much wider.

Best bet is to get a 14 or 16in fan and a controller in the upper hose.

You will need to make some mounting brackets to fit it too !

MR2 MkII Fans are your best bet-Ian has done it so will be the best to advise.

Thanks Gents
Shaun,  I like the idear of the in-hose switch, just wonder what would be the best hose to fit it in.

Tim, I have already emailed Ian, and he said Shaun would be the man to know, and once again he was not wrong.

lol :D

I run with a 14in fan but did have a 16in originally when I first stuck a electric fan on.

If the mr2 has been done before then its a cool way to go and just buy the controller to control the fan.

One thing I do notice on mine it always kicks in when I turn the key off after driving, the fan runs for a while and pushes a lot of heat out of the engine bay.
