Dug it all out on Saturday and drove it Sunday, started first time no trouble :)

The line you can see on the side of the snow? That\'s the seam line on the roof, not the top of the door...

Blimey-those last two posts put Dorset\'s effort to shame!

Well, the snow has more or less gone but we\'re hardly basking in a heat wave. This was the temperature in the garage this morning when I left for work at 4:30 am  Water temp top, air second :( Bit lairy on the old commute today

Are you going to put the full set of 4 standards from Rossendale on it Shaun?

Whilst you seek out a replacement special wheel maybe?

Just the rears. Will order one direct from team dynamics if I can and swap the tyre over. Doesn\'t look like its killed the tyre, just the rim. Trying not to use it till I can get the wheels off Kris.

Hows the FB handle the snow Shaun?

The mx5 is lovely and balanced. Really easy to catch it if the tail steps out and looses grip nice and equally front and rear, unless provoked! But with it being low, with that equal weight balance and me running t1rs its just got very little physical grip.

I also found that as my EGI 13b has the throttle body mods in combination with my megasquirt map, its a bit lumpy on power delivery below 2k, which is a little frustrating in the snow! Doesn\'t like to chug along at idle, like I could with the old piston engine in snow.

It\'s usually quite good but 2in of snow and 45lb of bowling balls in the boot didn\'t help. It kept pulling into the curb on the way home after the ding but there had been no snow cleared at the time.

Last year I didn\'t have a problem. Just a daft thing really that I couldn\'t catch in time.

Will probably stick some winter tyres on the s3 rims and use them till spring.
