Originally a Belfast Reg Lee.

Quite a few of the \'I\' plates were bought from N. Ireland and used in England/Wales/Scotland to disguise the age of a car. Hence say \'PIJ 1111\' might be used on a \'Y\' plate car over here to hide it being a 1982 vehicle. Some ancient buses also use that trick in these parts... buses 1978 or earlier still chuffing about and they think we can\'t tell!

In this case RXI 1941 has probably been bought some time back as a private plate by someone (born in 1941?) who had an RX7. It\'s presently on an unlicensed Blue 2nd Gen somewhere, maybe on retention, I don\'t know.

Hi There, Yes it is on an unregistered Blue FC now residing in my driveway! An unfinished project I purchased and have some plans for! I was told the reg may be worth something by the seller as he had been approached by someone to buy it. So just curious.

Thanks for the info though. I wondered if there was some specific mazda relative history with the 1941 date?

Cheers
