Charity for the Air Ambulance

First up people, can one of the moderators please make this a sticky in the appropriate section please.
After going to an off road 4x4 event the other week with friends (ok so they can go anywhere but they do it slowly!! :Giggle) , the air ambulance did us really really proud.
 
One of the guys twisted his leg in the mud and ended up snapping both lower leg bones while in the middle of the quarry, obviously having no way of getting out until the air ambulance arrived!!
 
So we are proposing a charity fundraising event for the air ambulance, basically a massive balloon launch with local and hopefully the national papers aswell, on a large local park in nuneaton (our home town), on the 2nd of january (so everyone can attend without still being hungover from new years eve!!), with a photo opportunity of an air ambulance landing in the middle of the park surrounded by 4x4\'s (seeing as it was an isuzu event we were at)!!!
 
The nitty gritty of it being,
 
We propose a balloon launch with (if you want to include one) a short message printed on a card attached to each balloon purchased. These will be sold at a cost of £5 per balloon with all proceeds going to the air ambulance, presented with a giant cheque from all who participate.
 
Obviously everyone is welcome (the more the merrier), however it would be nice to have a moderator or 2 from the club at the event, although if this is not possible i propose to be there as a representive/local member from our club.
