I\'ve been working on the FC for a few months now, and even though the rust on the rear arches is only fairly small bubbling, I think its letting the car down, and I\'d like to sort it sooner rather than later. Rust just isn\'t good!

I\'ve had quotes for the rear arches to be cut and welded/fabricated which came to a pretty hefty price, and I wasn\'t really sure if I wanted to get the wide overfenders and just chop the arches out and cover them, so I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere that made replacement FC rear quarters, or even somewhere that could do a relatively well priced/good quality repair? I wanted to get it repaired to a high standard, so I don\'t have to worry about the rust coming back! The rust doesn\'t look like it\'d be bad, so I just want to get it sorted incase it gets worse.

Any ideas/suggestions? :driving

I think getting them cut and welded/fabricated is your best bet. Either that or buying a shell that someone is breaking and getting the arches out of that.

Personally i wouldn\'t just slap over fenders on them as the rust will just get worse. Unless you cut the rust away when fitting the overfenders
