Hi, the FD has just developed a new fault, when coming to junction or very slow gear change when cold, the revs drop off and engine will stop, however when the car is warm the revs drop down/dip to about 200rpm and then jump up to about 850rpm nom idle, and because warm the engine does not stall and survives the rev drop for a split second, (if that makes sence)??
any ideas where to start please?:Thumbs-up
Cheers Paul

When did you last change your plugs? Is the car standard?

Last plug change a few thousand miles back with iridium 10.5(s)
and a few mods.(intercooler and exst.)The fault would seem to be more like a possible air leak then the ecu adjusting the idle to compensate if thats possible? but need a starting point before pulling off the UIM to check pipes and gaskets.
The car did have this same fault about 7 years ago, but the fault was corrected when rebuilt (removing and refitting everything, curred at same time)
