Electrical help.

So ive tried to make this abs light come on with the ignition and go out when the engine starts (apparently this is ok).

Anyhu, i decided to splice the abs light in with the fuel light. Only problem is that when i turn on the engine the fuel light goes out but the abs light doesnt.

Anyone have any idea what the problem is? i thought it would be straight forward.


Actually its just hit me, are the connectors different on american cars. Ive been using a plug diagram from an american workshop manual.

everythings fine now. Apparently no light at all is fine
