idle problem help

anyone know why
well the car is sweet when sitting with engine running
also when clutch peddle is pressed
but select a gear any gear it hunts and sounds like its missing
it drive spot on
any help would be great cheers

Sounds like the clutch is dragging very slightly which is why its dropping the revs and making the engine sound different,

If all else is A O/K I would say "if it aint broke don\'t fix it"

is there some idle control when the car is in gear because it does it 3 times when first put in to gear and then its fine
