my brakes seem to fade when they get hot, or when I give the car a bit of stick. Anyone else suffered from this..... any recommendations on new pads...
what makes are you using...??
I want standard road use pads  that do the job, not racing pads.
What do you reckon?

Flush the brake system completly as the old stuff might be boiling and have air bubbles in it. Then put some 5.1 brake fluid in, its suprising what a difference it can make!!

thanks, that\'s a good point, I\'ll do that!

I\'d go with halfords racing dot4 fluid, it is better at coping with the higher temperatures - a few club323f members have had issues with the 5.1 getting past the seals :(

As far as pads go, ebc ultimax are really good, and pretty cheap :)

Stick some Hawk HPS or HP+ pads in the front and some dot 5 and that will help,

I know they make these as I have series 1 pads in the front of the RX-4 to help woh it up,

was going to say Hawks, not used them myself but heard they are the bis for gen 1\'s as there arn\'t a load of options, i dont think there were any special pads in my stock set up and they held up well on track days for me (fluid would of been fresh) im yet to test out my new T11 brake set up and EBC yellows on the track but no problems with normal driving
