Just a quick question.
What oilpressure do you see @ start-up,idle and 3000 rpm when the engine is warm?

Mine is a rebuilt engine and will get anything from 3+ cold, 5-6 on the gauge when its hot. It can be common for the oil pressure to be lower when cold on a rotary. I never seem to go above 6 though. An oil change on my car did wonders and raised the pressure quite significantly.
If you are in any doubt then either test the oil pressure with an external gauge and change the oil.

It also depends entirely on what the gauge wants to do lol I would suggest getting aftermarket gauges for oil temp, oil pressure, water temperature and a mechanical boost gauge.
