hi there i want to know if i want to remove the engine, do i need to remove the gear box first? or will the engine itself will come out?

Ada7

You can do it either way. If you\'ve got the standard turbos and downpipe on then you could leave the gearbox on and it will come out as one big bit.
When i did mine i took it of the box as i thought it would be easier to get out without it.
If you do a search or 2 on here you\'ll find a few engine removal threads :D

Gearbox is bigger than the engine lol just keep the box on there, saves messing around even more with heavy gearboxes coming down and crushing you lol I have helped get a 300ZX engine out with the box on, a 13B will be easy lol

lol.. great... coz i was considering to take the gear box out first before the engine, so now i can conside just take the engine out less hassle thx guys!
