Hi, new here so hello!! I\'ve been thinking lately of getting an rx7, not as a daily driver got the civic for that! But would like to know a few things first. I know insurance will be fairly pricey but i hear if you insure them as a 2nd car on a classic policy it usually works out cheaper? What kind of fuel milage do fd\'s get? Will only be used here & there but still important lol general reliability? Regular services etc, 3000 miles im guessing? What is the crack with rebuilds also? I know they wear rotor tips out but how much are you looking at for a rebuild? Oh and whats the story with street port & bridgeport etc? Hear it but it means nothing lol cheers

15-18mpg on twins. oil changes every 3000-5000 miles.
rebuilds vary depending on how a cars been looked after.

Ok cool, tbh thats about that i was expecting, would only be a weekend/nice day driver so probs wouldnt be doing more than 150 miles a week. What are they like for aftermarket parts? Got a starlet turbo atm and its like £5-700 for a exhaust, £3-£500 for fmic, not to bad, are rex\'s simular or?

Whats your budget mate?

My RX7 is a single turbo, 356 hp, use it daily sometimes and weekends and isnt bad at all on long journeys, only drive it on journeys over 10 miles. Not to the corner shop :)

Nothing yet lol just going to learn about them first until i decide. Should get about £5500 for the starlet or more if i break it so maybe £7000 around september time when insurance is up. What kinda prices are aftermarket parts for rx7s? Exhaust, coilovers & possibly single turbo conversion in the future, jst ballpark figures to get an idea?
