FD Front door speaker size..

Hi..
 
One of my front speakers has blown so i am going to replace with a decent set of speakers, actually, i\'m stripping all the standard stuff out..
 
Anyway, i have read some conflicting information about what size speakers will fit in the front door mounts...
 
Can anyone confirm what speakers size actually fits and if they had to carry out any mods to get them to fit ?

13 cm but if you build pods then you can get 17s

Perfect, i\'ll stick with the 13\'s, only to play mid range anyways, thanks for letting me know !

17s definitely go in, I had Alpine SPS-171s and they fitted with just the standard mounting bracket that came with them. Very little work

Just make sure they\'re not too deep.
