Basically looking at getting some colder air into my fd.
Im running an hks induction kit at the moment which is fine but when i was getting the fueling sorted last month on a dyno we unbolted the filters and lifted them out a bit of the (quite hot) engine bay, the car gained an extra 20hp at the wheels just by getting the cooler air in.

Are these any arc boxes really any better at getting colder air in, or any better solutions?

No! The filter on the underside sucks hot air in right out of the radiator on a stock mounting. You\'d need to get creative with heat shielding to really make any major difference. They\'re beautifully made, though, and much nicer than the stock airbox :Giggle
