Please can anybody out their tell me how to adjust the tick over on my turbo 11 convertible 1991
the tick over is very slow and quite often stalls at lights even when hot?
thanks Grant

I have adjusted mine on the cruise control cable (passengers side rear of the engine bay). It\'s not the correct way I\'m sure but it does the job:)

Hi Grant.

You sound like you need your TPS setting up. Does it run ok when cold?

How it works is the TPS stops it stalling when for example you rev it and let off with no load on. Lights are a good example.

When its warm with a bit of gradual letting of of the throttle can you make it idle ok or is it as you say too low? should be about 750-800rpm.

you will find T2\'s dont just drop revs the will be a reason for it (Needs service, new plugs, lower comp etc) check all this first before you start ajusting stuff.
