Also just emailed you a page from the 99-on FD workshop manual, with reference to 17" wheels.

Hopefully you\'ll have enough info along with Craig\'s copy to show 17" wheels were available as standard.

My 96 RS came with the 5 spoke 17s, the 16\'s won\'t fit over the larger rear brakes
