Standard clutch should be fine for that level of power - is that 280 at the fly or wheels?  Either way a standard should do the job.

The brake pads you choose will depend on what you want to get out of them - track, road, fast road etc.  I\'ve always liked Mintex, pagid, or Hawk - they have plenty of flavours that will suit what you want.

I\'ve had wheels done by these chaps before:

They are not near Reading - but their prices and quality is very good.

I\'ve heard good things about the T1-R on the Rex. Found some on interweb last week (i need some too) for less than a ton each....

I\'m a big fan of Eagle F1\'s - but they are now discontinued. CRAP on track though, as they overheat and marble. T1r\'s also seem very good too. It really depends on the use though - Mine is an occasional track and fast road/dry weather car, and will be sporting 888\'s/D01J\'s, but I wouldn\'t recommend that for a daily.

As for pads - Ferodo DS2500\'s from DB-power are very good all round pads - can take some proper road abuse, and some light track work. The cold bite is a lot better than it used to be too. Also try Project Mu NS streets. All less than £100. My 2500\'s came from DB Power.

Wheel refurb: It\'s going to be expensive with split rims. However, if you can be arsed to split them down yourself and get the rims done by somoene who just does polishing, and the centres by a powdercoating place, you can save a packet.

I have DS2500\'s in stock...and will aim to beat anyone on price!

D01\'s are a tad difficult to find these days!  We supply Kumho tyres, and they are very competent tyres, and I would put them over the Dunlops personally.  Tried both D01\'s and D02\'s

I have a second hand Exedy Single plate clutch if you are interested in playing it safe.  Will be selling it on behalf of a customer.
