Electric Power steering

Hey everyone, just wondering who has converted to electric power steering and what is involved etc as well as any interchangerble pumps I could use, basically I need to get rid of the powersteering pulley gear in my FC to be able to fit better flowing intercooler pipework as my car has ABS as well as the pulley driven power steering, meaning that if an IC pipe goes in where the gap is, I can\'t change my spark plugs lol

So does the E.P.S.P just replace the pulleys and pump the fluid via the electric motor? its not the same as an electronic steering rack? or is it?

Do I just need the pump, or the pump and relays, or the pump, relays and rack?

yep - it\'s just an electric fluid pump designed for ps fluid :Thumbs-up - a couple of peeps on here have done the conversion I think

use the search function, i have done several right ups on this, i did it to my first FD and then my FC.  You will have to go back a few years though.
