They seem to have pretty good review looking around. I\'ve got some on the rear at the mo...it just happens some of us don\'t have the cash for really good tyres when you find a nail stuck in the sidewall :) Nexens are ....e in the wet from my experience though.

But it means I can save now and get some decent ones!

I don\'t have the cash, but there are some decent tyres around in the budget range that are a LOT better than Nexen\'s and the like - Kumho KU31\'s, Falken 452\'s, and the like are all very good for the money :)

Indeed, but the Nexens are still cheaper as a temporary replacement when you\'re completely skint...I only drive a bit at the weekends so it\'s not like they get hammered all the time.

I got them on the rear at the mo... getting Falkens now though by the look of it...

FYI the nexens have been round the nurburgring about 25 times and still look like new .. Must admit though they were very damp days .

Before I go and buy these, does anyone have experience of the Toyo Proxes T1-R?

I can get 2x 255/40 R17 Y (98)Reinforced & 2x 235/40 R17 Y (90) Reinforced fitted for £447.30 from Black Circles.

These are reinforced so I think that they offer more protection if a blow out was to occur??

Either way both tyres seem good value.

Thanks
Ben
