purge control solenoid issue

I\'ve got the code for it popping up on the diags.

The 12V feed seems to be shorting(ish) to earth. measuring 1000 ohms. From the wiring diagram it looks like it ought to be infinite, but there could be something else I\'m missing as there\'s a lot of stuff hanging off that 12V feed. Could someone do me a massive favour and measure the resistance between the black and white wire on the connector and the battery earth terminal please?

Found the problem. Green and yellow wire between ECU and connector has a break in it. Somewhere. In the torturous mess that Mazda call a loom. About 3 days down under all the other stuff. I hate the FD with a passion, I can\'t wait to get rid of the thing.
