About to purchase track tyres... Sizes and brands for 16\'s?

I am just about to order buy P888\'s in 225/50 which is the factory tyre size for early FD\'s, but wondering if anyone runs any other sizes on the stock rims?

Stocks are 8\'s, right? Most you could get away with are 245\'s, but I\'d say 225 is about right Stiff sidewalls though, so you could get away with it 235\'s would be fine
